Our Ongoing Work
Since 2021 as a result of City County council had tried to put through Proposition 291. Alice M. Walker came up with the idea to revive Operation care package. Thanks to Black Indy Ten for letting us revive under a different name: Hope Packages. Which partnered with the liberation center at the time until August of 2025.
As co-founder of The Hope Packages, I personally experienced being homeless. We are continuing with partnerships on assembly days, partnerships, and unity under the common goal.

Community Care
We provide essential services and support directly to community members in need, fostering resilience and resourcefulness through unity. By helping with housing, affordable childcare and provide resources to help those in need.
Advocacy
We advocate for policy changes that benefit underrepresented groups and amplify their voices within decision-making processes.
Community Action
Community comes together on the 3rd Sunday of every month ( until further notice). Assembling packages to build relationship with those who are less fortunate. It's very important that we continue to take back our neighborhoods.

Education Support
We offer programs that support educational discussions to educate the community about the history of the war on poverty. The people who are homeless require housing and dignity.
